    • Scarcity (You have to be careful with this one as it can alienate people if used in the wrong way)

    • Conversion ratio at the event. Average “immediate’ client conversion for “guest speakers” is around 5-10%. What you are offering, the price, and how you offer it, will of course. influence the percentages (in the coaching program you will learn to to close more sales without appearing to be too “salesy”)
    • The lifetime value of your average customer. (I am going to ask you to really take a look at this and use some strategies from my playbook to increase the lifetime value of your average client AND increase YOUR value to them.)
    • Relationships you build and convert over time. A very mediocre average is 10 -15 %. Meaning that if you spoke at an event with thirty attendees, you should have closed between one (1) and three (3) on the spot, and another three(3) to five(5) in your follow up.


An average example would be:
2 new clients at the event + 4 new clients with follow up
i.e. 6 new clients from that one event X their Lifetime value.
If the average lifetime value (LTV) of your client is $5,000, the event earned you $30,000. If it the LTV is $10,000 it is $60,000.
